Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective August 1, 2007. 1. Organizational Changes
Changes in the area of Research and Development Goals | - | Mazda will accelerate development of its next generation powertrains based on Sustainable Zoom-Zoom, its long-term vision for technology development, and “Monotsukuri”, Mazda’s Manufacturing Innovation concept. | | - | In order to accomplish the goals of Mazda’s mid-term plan, the Mazda Advancement Plan, programs for existing products will be enhanced. | | - | By forming a department to improve work processes and reform the business culture in the Powertrain Development Div., Mazda will advance its efforts efficiently to achieve the desired quality levels in development of our next generation powertrains and programs for existing products. |
